Benefits of Accreditation

 

Receive copies of VA letters

Access to VA computer programs through VPN or T-1 line

Able to view MAP-D, COVERS, BDN and virtual VA

More in-depth training, to include appeals and hearings

VA call center will talk to you as you will be on THE LIST

Certify DD 214 ‘s

Have direct access to Veterans claims folders

Sign forms except original claim, 21-22 and annual income verification

 

How to get Accredited

 

Be a paid county employee with at least 1000 hrs annually

Completed TVC initial training and 24 additional hrs

Submit letter from your county Judge confirming hours worked

Letter to TVC requesting participation in program

Work the Advisor program on the VA website before taking TVC test
